Picasso Marble
Picasso Marble is famed for its ability to inspire creativity, its colors reminiscent of a painter's palette. As I work with an air hammer or diamond chainsaw, I imagine the stone resonating with the rumble of thunder. The Inuit myth of the Kadlu, three goddess sisters who create thunder, lightning, and rain, caught my interest. The lines within the stone reflects the essence of lightning, adding depth to its story. My goal is to reveal the marble's finest qualities while maintaining my trademark one edge, and seamless flow. With each carving, I strive to honor the stone's natural beauty and the myths that echo within its depths.
